Why connect Claude to the filings
A language model is not a database. Clarifo gives Claude a source to read from, so the numbers in its answer are the ones the company reported.

Can Claude read SEC filings?
Not on its own. Without a data source Claude answers from its training data, which stops at a cutoff date and has no page to cite. With the Clarifo connector, Claude fetches 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K filings and the financial statements in them while you ask, and cites the source of each figure.
How do I add Clarifo to Claude?
Open Clarifo's listing in Claude's Connectors Directory (claude.ai/directory/connectors/clarifo), click Connect and sign in with your Clarifo account. Claude then calls Clarifo whenever a question needs financial data.
