Village Super Market is a U.S. supermarket operator founded in 1937 that runs 34 supermarkets in New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania under the ShopRite and Fairway banners, plus three Gourmet Garage specialty markets in New York City. It is the second largest member of Wakefern Food Corporation, a retailer-owned food cooperative that supports its purchasing, distribution, technology and marketing needs.
