Tracking Q3 2026 earnings with a company financials platform

As of 28 October 2026, 204 S&P 500 companies had reported Q3 2026 and 152 of the 175 with figures grew revenue. We show how we track the season from filings, with PepsiCo, RTX, General Motors and KONE as examples.

As of 28 October 2026, 204 of the 500 S&P 500 companies had reported their Q3 2026 results, and 152 of the 175 with figures so far grew revenue year on year, at a median of 8.3%. Those numbers come from our earnings season tracker, which runs on the same company financials platform as our company pages: we count a company as reported the moment its results are published and take the figures from the filing itself.

This article explains how the tracker works, what the season looks like so far in the United States and on Nasdaq Helsinki, and how to check any single reporter. For the context going into the season, read Q3 earnings season opens on a high baseline.

How the earnings season tracker decides who has reported

For US companies, the publication is the earnings 8-K (Item 2.02), filed the day the press release goes out. The 10-Q or 10-K follows days or weeks later with the full XBRL figures. Our tracker handles the gap this way:

The 8-K counts as reported

A company is counted on the day of its earnings 8-K. Until the 10-Q arrives, figures come from the condensed income statement in the press release, read deterministically.

The 10-Q replaces the release table

When the 10-Q or 10-K is filed, the figures switch to SEC XBRL. A release without a readable table is listed as "released, filing pending", never estimated.

Interim reports for Helsinki and Stockholm

For Nordic companies, the interim report and its stock exchange release mark the publication, and the figures come from the report.

Fiscal calendars are mapped to the calendar quarter that holds most of their months, so PepsiCo's 12 weeks ended 5 September 2026 and Costco's quarter ended 30 August 2026 count as early reports of this season.

By sector, Information Technology leads with a median revenue growth of 24.8% across 19 companies with figures, and all 19 grew. Industrials, the largest group so far with 53 companies with figures, shows a median of 9.4%. Of the 20 largest companies by quarterly revenue, only five have reported; Amazon.com, Inc. (scheduled for 29 October 2026) and Apple Inc. (2 November 2026) are among those still to come.

The table shows four companies that have reported, three from the S&P 500 and one from Nasdaq Helsinki, with the quarter's revenue and earnings against the same quarter a year earlier.

The detail behind the rows differs, as PepsiCo's Q3 10-Q, RTX's Q3 10-Q and General Motors' Q3 10-Q show. PepsiCo's operating margin rose to 16.9% from 14.9%, and RTX's to 13.4% from 11.2%. General Motors grew revenue 2.9% while net income rose to USD 3,335 million from USD 1,327 million. KONE's stock exchange release of 28 October 2026 reported orders received up 7.2% to EUR 2,292.9 million and operating income of EUR 339.0 million, 11.7% of sales, against 12.1% a year earlier.

Nasdaq Helsinki in Q3 2026: a slower, later season

Nordic companies report on their own timetable. On Nasdaq Helsinki, 66 of the 150 companies we cover had reported by 28 October 2026. Of the 33 with comparable revenue, 27 grew (81.8%) and the median revenue growth was 5.2%. Net income grew at 10 of the 22 companies compared, with a median change of -5.5%. Among the larger reporters, Wärtsilä Oyj Abp reported revenue of EUR 1,493 million, down 8.5% from EUR 1,632 million, while Konecranes Plc reported EUR 1,101.5 million, up 11.4%.

Early in a season, a share like "86.9% grew revenue" describes the 175 companies with figures, not the S&P 500. The base grows every day until mid-November, so we always state it next to the share.

Every reporter in the tracker has a company page with its income statement, balance sheet and cash flow in one shape across periods, and a link to the filing behind each figure. Company events add the filings around the result: PepsiCo's Q3 earnings 8-K was filed on 8 October 2026, followed on 16 October by an 8-K on a senior notes offering of two EUR 500 million tranches, due 2029 and 2035.3
